Loved this bbq joint so much! In a city that's famous for it, this place is the real deal!

The Off the Hook food truck was at Briarfest this weekend and my tent mate and I decided to give them a try.We both got the pulled brisket sandwich, which came with chips and pickles. The sandwich was huge! The bun was filled with beautifully tender and flavorful pulled brisket. The sauce was sweet and tangy and there was just the right amount. I understand they have a walk up window in Parkville, and are planning to open a brick and mortar later this year at 152 and Green Hills Rd. Highly recommend you give them a try!

Husband got brisket sandwich and I got pulled pork. Absolutely delicious and the people were super nice! If you're there for parkville days this weekend, try it out!!

I hired Off the Hook BBQ for my Dad's 90th birthday celebration and they helped make it a huge success!!! From creating the menu, to answering my panicked text message 3 days before (at 4am), to making adjustments at the last minute, Wardell and his team were so understanding, patient and kind. The food was AWESOME, and let me tell you, THOSE BEANS WITH BRISKET IN THEM.....a meal in itself!! The brisket, chicken and potato salad were a also a hit. And who can't love a man who has his Mom working with him!! If you are looking for a conscientious caterer with GREAT FOOD, Off The Hook is it!!

This place is so cute and amazing food. The lady and gentleman was so gracious for serving us 15 after they was already closed for the day. And the brisket is so awesome just by itself. We only wish it was closer to where we live to come more. Thank you guys so much.

Delicious, filling food. I had a baked potato piled high with brisket and Mac & cheese. It was HUGE and so delicious. The owners were extremely friendly and such a joy to talk with. Easy to miss spot, but worth your time to stop by.

Home of the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten. Juicy and flavorful. They just won a trophy at a BBQ competition last week and I think they will do well in the future, at least I certainly hope so! The brisket was falling apart tender. Check them out at their walk-up window in Parkville. I will be back soon.

I tried this place first time around during Christmas at the River at their food truck and have been craving it every since. They do have limited hours Thur-Saturday, but if you catch them open, give them a try. I have now had the Brisket and Pulled Pork sandwich, both deliciously tasty, juicy and amazing. The sauce does come on the side and I can't say I blame them. Meat this good, shouldn't be hidden! Ha Apologies for no picture, I woofed my sandwich down so quickly, I forgot to take a picture. That's saying something all on it's own. A cute little corner shop with a few chairs, music going and good food. All the stars! Oh and the owner shared that next month, he hopes to have his beer and wine slushees up and going. Yes, please.

Myself and a co-worker stopped in today for lunch. Got to meet Wardell and his mom. They are super nice people. I ordered the brisket sandwich that came 2 sides. The sides I got were Max and cheese and the Baked beans. The only thing that fought me off guard was the brisket sandwich I wasn't expecting a chopped brisket sandwich. It was good though I really enjoyed it. The Mac and Cheese was good also. I loved the Baked Beans. This were delicious. My coworker got the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. He also enjoyed the Mac and cheese. They gave us 2 extra sides for free to try Cheesy potatoes and potato salad. I didn't know it was going to be mashed potato's but they were legit, loved them. The potato salad was a little to sweet for me. But all in all I will be back. If you live in Parkville or anywhere in KC come support this new BBQ restaurant in our little town of Parkville.

This established food truck and catering operation has a new storefront takeout-only location in Parkville. They offer a BBQ menu and daily specials. My brisket sandwich ($9) and a side of baked beans ($2) were served a couple of minutes after I ordered at the window, where the service was cheerful and friendly. The brisket sandwich had a generous portion of finely shredded, very moist beef on a fresh bun. It was pretty good, just different from what I expected. I did not notice that you must ask for BBQ sauce, which was kind of strange, so I did not receive any. The beans were very delicious, with a flavorful, somewhat tangy sauce and good chunks of meat mixed in - nice! The order was accompanied by several dill pickle slices. Overall, very nice.
